We often give out glow-in-the-dark wristbands because we like to "light up" the lives of those in need. So we encourage everyone who visits our site to bring light to the dark and let it glow!! Hopefully our poem will inspire you to do something good and make a difference.

It Glows!
A dark cellar, damp with despair,
One candle lit, rose perfumes the air.
It Glows!
A man sleeps alone, hard concrete -
cold and wet.
A fleece scarf, a cotton blanket -
It Glows!
A woman crying, a battered and
bruised face,
Some coffee, conversation -
It Glows!
A child scorned by his peers
He is different, yet the same.
A hug, a smile -
It Glows!
A traveler lost in the city,
An outstretched hand, a burden shared -
It Glows!
A neighbor whispers to the wind
Only his echo listens.
A slit wrist, blood on the snow
Strangers gossip, friends judge
Horror and disgust, no light, no love -
Cold ice, bitter frustration!
A life remembered with value,
A ray of sun, a kind word, a good deed,
An angel's kiss, love given -
Warm rain, sweet serenity!
It Glows!
